Preparing Your Order
Every order placed with English Accents is carefully inspected and thoughtfully packed before leaving us. We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within the estimated times shown on our website. During periods of exceptionally high demand, seasonal holidays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, dispatch times may be extended. Should this occur, we will keep you informed of any significant delays.
Delivery Services
We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom using trusted courier partners, including Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, Evri and other carefully selected delivery providers. The courier used for your order will depend on the size, weight, destination and nature of the products purchased. As English Accents continues to grow, we may introduce additional delivery services or expand to other territories. Any changes will be reflected within our Delivery Information page.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and begin once your order has been dispatched. While our delivery partners make every effort to deliver within the stated timeframe, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, industrial action or other unforeseen events. English Accents shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party delivery providers where such delays are outside our reasonable control.
Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address and contact details provided at checkout are accurate and complete. If an incorrect or incomplete address is supplied, this may result in delays, additional delivery charges or the return of your parcel to us. Where additional costs are incurred due to incorrect information provided by the customer, these costs may be payable before the order can be re-dispatched.
Delivery Confirmation
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information where this service is available. Tracking updates are provided directly by the relevant courier and may take a short time to become active after dispatch.
Receiving Your Order
We kindly ask that you inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If your parcel appears visibly damaged upon arrival, we recommend noting this with the courier where possible before accepting delivery. Should any item arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact our Customer Care team as soon as possible, and wherever possible within 48 hours of delivery, so that we can investigate and resolve the matter promptly. Our Returns & Refunds Policy provides further information regarding damaged or faulty goods.
Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because no one is available to receive the parcel, the courier may:

leave the parcel in a designated safe place where authorised;

deliver to a nominated neighbour;

redirect the parcel to a local collection point; or

attempt delivery again, depending on the courier’s procedures.
Where a parcel is returned to English Accents after unsuccessful delivery attempts, we may contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional delivery charges may apply.
Risk & Ownership
Responsibility for the goods passes to you once your order has been delivered to the delivery address provided and accepted by you or by a person authorised to receive the delivery on your behalf. Ownership of the goods remains with English Accents until payment has been received in full.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We will not be responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such delay results from events beyond our reasonable control. These events may include, but are not limited to:

severe weather conditions;

flooding or natural disasters;

transport disruption;

industrial action;
-
acts of government or public authority;

war, terrorism or civil unrest;

public health emergencies; or
-
interruptions affecting courier networks or essential services.
Where such circumstances occur, we will make every reasonable effort to minimise disruption and keep you informed throughout the process.
